To properly prepare for entrance into the Sajido program, all beginners will start in a Tae Kwon Do / Karate format.
The art of Sajido may be used in the martial arts as a form of energy that embraces
kicking, punching, jumping, blocking, dodging, grappling, tools (weapons) or the
environment around you. It is a system for training both the mind and body, with
emphasis on the development of mind and physical control.
The first step in training is a lengthy period of stretching exercises designed to make the practitioner limber and able to place hand and foot in balance.
Sajido is famous for its controlled flow of energy, a spectacular assortment of techniques which, when executed by an expert, are devastating. All of the basic techniques can be delivered against more than one attacker. Although noted for its devastating energy, Sajido practitioners use in training a large array of hand/foot techniques to punch, strike, block, trap, or grapple. In Sajido martial arts, all parts of the body are used in attacking as well as defending.
